
The Bulldogs came out strong, particularly on the defensive end, holding South Ripley to just 10 points in the first half. This solid defense allowed Batesville to build a comfortable lead heading into the second half.
Leading the scoring for the Bulldogs was one player with 14 points, while two others contributed 8 points each. Additional scoring came from players who added 3 points each, with a couple more rounding out the effort with 2 points apiece.
With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 5-1 on the season. They will return home for their next game, a highly anticipated Cross-town Shootout against the St. Louis Cardinals, scheduled for Thursday night.
