The Bulldog Freshmen team takes 3rd in the tournament hosted at Batesville today. Lawrenceburg placed second and East Central took first.
In the first match the Bulldogs fell to Franklin County with uninspired play giving up 8 unanswered points in the first set. They were not able to recover losing 25-21 and 25-23.
The second match featured South Dearborn vs. Batesville. The Bulldogs took it 25-13 and 25-12 with solid passing from our back row. Batesville also took service errors down to 4 for the whole match vs the 6 errors from the first match.
The third and final match had Franklin County against Batesville again. This time the Bulldogs won 25-21 and 25-19 with solid passing again contributing to 5 kills from Morgan Batchelor and 4 kills from Megan Butz.
