Batesville 7th grade improved to 11-1 with a 47-27 victory over Milan. Halftime score was 21-15 BMS. Both teams battled hard and capitalized on each others mistakes. After the half, whole new story. Batesville turned it up a few notches too many for the opponent. The dogs forced a lot of turnovers that led to easy buckets. Scoring for Batesville was Cade Kaiser(21), Jacob Stenger(9), Will Jaisle(7), Carson Laker(5), Grant Goldsmith(4), and Jake Chapman(1).
8th grade moved to 8-4 on the season after defeating Milan 37-29. Gus Prickel hit a three at the end of the half to give the Bulldogs an 18-14 lead at halftime. The third quarter was huge for Batesville as they gained separation from Milan and took control of the game. Milan fought hard all night but the Bulldogs ultimately closed out the game to come out with a win. Sam Johnson led the Bulldogs offensively with 11 points, followed by Conner Drake (9), Gus Prickel (7), Chris Lewis (5), Carter Bohman (3), and Jack Grunkemeyer (2).
