Batesville Wrestling traveled to South Dearborn for the EIAC Tournament. Despite only bringing 8 wrestlers, The Bulldogs finished 5th out of the 8 teams with all 8 Bulldogs finishing in the top 8.
Batesville was led by 3 wrestlers making it to the finals with Tacoma Nicholas (113), Alex Murphy (120), and Josh Mobley (152) all Finishing 2nd. Three Bulldogs finished 3rd with Mason Neeley (145), Jacob Weigel (182), and Chase Hamilton (195) all winning their final match of the day. Tyler Schaeffer (132) and Jonathan Buschle also made the podium with both finishing 6th.
Batesville will try to build off of this performance when they travel back to South Dearborn for Sectionals on January 30th.
