Congratulations to everyone that qualified and participated at the indoor state meet at IU in Bloomington on Saturday evening. To make the cut of being one of the top 24 in the state is a feet in itself.
We had many personal record performances and our girls 4 x 800 relay team got themselves on the podium and a medal as they placed 8th. The team was made up of Liz Loichinger, Trysta Vierling, Maria Lopez and Katie Olsen. Way to go ladies! There were also several close to the podium placement and they were Stephanie Nobbe in the high jump placing 10th (8’0″), the girls 4000m Distance Medley Relay of Trysta Vierling, Carley Pride, Katie Olsen and Liz Loichinger placing 9th by less then .3 of a second and the girls 4 x 400m relay of Stephanie Nobbe, Liz Loichinger, Katie Olsen and Carley Pride placing 11th. Others competing were Carley Pride in the high jump, Katie Bedel in shot put, Ean Loichinger in the 3200m run, the boys 4 x 800 team of Kavin Saravanan, Will Nuhring, Daren Smith and JJ Kuisel, and the boys 4 x 400 relay team of Kavin Saravanan, Chase Hamilton, Tyler Meyers and JJ Kuisel.
