BROOKVILLE, Ind. — The Heap Memorial Pool in Brookville will be closed again for the second year in a row.
According to the Brookville American-Democrat, Town Council President, Mike Biltz, made the announcement at the Brookville Redevelopment Commission meeting.
Officials found a leak in the pool in 2015 and did not open in 2016.
A committee has been looking into options concerning the pool.
The town hired a consultant to look into different options, and the consultant has recommended constructing a new pool as the current pool is not American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant.
