(Franklin County, IN) – A Brookville man is facing charges stemming from a residential break-in back in January.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says 45-year-old Nicklaus Pennington was arrested last Sunday and charged with a felony related to the burglary and a misdemeanor related to resisting arrest.
The investigation began after a burglary was reported on the 6,000 block of Pipe Creek Road.
Investigators say the suspect forced entry into the home and made off with about $8,000 worth of property – most of which was military-related equipment.
Deputies say evidence collected at the scene led to developing Pennington as a suspect.
A warrant was obtained for his arrest earlier this month.
Pennington was being lodged in the Franklin County Security Center.
