(Batesville, IN) – There’s a new opportunity to help support local youth and families in need, in the form of Neighborhood Bridges Batesville.

The initiative connects families in need with community members who are ready to help.

Through this program, local schools submit specific, verified needs, ensuring that requests are thoughtful and directly connected to students and families who could use extra support.

“We are proud to partner with the Batesville School Corporation, St. Louis School, and Oldenburg Academy to help identify needs and connect students and families with caring members of our community who want to help,” said Danielle Becker, Executive Director of Coalition for a Drug Free Batesville. “Community members play a vital role by responding to these needs. Through simple and specific opportunities, you can make a meaningful difference for families right here in our community.”

You can sign up for distribution notifications and share the opportunity to help with others.

“The more people who receive notifications, the more quickly and effectively we can meet local needs,” Becker added.

“Sometimes the smallest act of kindness can make the biggest difference. Thank you for helping support and strengthen our community — and for spreading the word,” Becker said.
