Brenda Lee “Jo” Lloyd, 68, Greensburg

 Brenda Lee Lloyd, affectionately known as Brenda Jo or JoJo, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, in Greensburg, Indiana, at the age of 68. Born on May 30, 1957, in Charlottesville, Virginia, Brenda was the daughter of the late Guy Mason Lloyd and Barbara May Lloyd.

In 2013, Brenda moved to Greensburg to be closer to her beloved nephew, Marshall Lloyd, and his family—a decision that brought immeasurable joy and connection to those she held dear. Brenda’s deep love for her family was evident in everything she did. She was known for her warm, comforting hugs, her generous spirit, and her constant reminders of love to those around her.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Shirley Powell, Linda Pritchett, and Mary Frances Breeden; and her brother, Benny Lewis Jr. She is survived by her sisters Sadie Lloyd and Betty Meister; her devoted nephew Marshall Lloyd and his wife Sarah; and their children Devin, Sammy, and Georgia Lloyd, whom she adored. She is also lovingly remembered by Cliff Gibson, Dee Kidd, Wendy Pritchett, Jesse Pritchett Jr., Jamie Pritchett, Elmer Jackson Jr., Barbara Wade, Betty Gibson, Jason Gibson, China Washington, and many great nieces and nephews.

Brenda had a deep love for professional wrestling, never missing an episode of AEW or WWE. She especially cherished legends like Dusty Rhodes, Magnum T.A., and Cody Rhodes. Her other favorite pastimes included working on puzzles and coloring—bringing beauty and patience to every page she touched.

She was baptized in 2019, a meaningful and joyful moment in her life. Brenda was a woman of faith, family, and fierce loyalty. She shared a special, playful bond with her nephew Marshall, with whom she exchanged endless jokes, laughter, and affection.

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on June 20, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Church on the Rock in Batesville, Indiana, with Reverend Roger Dean officiating.

Brenda’s life was a testament to kindness, humor, and unwavering love. As the saying goes, “Only an aunt can give hugs like a mother, keep secrets like a sister, and share love like a friend.” Brenda was all of these and more. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
