Bradley Joseph “Brad” Roell, age 38 of Indianapolis, Indiana, and formerly of Batesville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born September 22, 1987, in Indianapolis, he is the son of Dennis and Beverly (nee: Greiwe) Roell.
Brad was a Landscaper for Indy Parks in Indianapolis. Brad loved life and enjoyed being in nature; he liked to hike, kayak, and golf. He loved his music and playing the guitar. He was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Indiana Hoosiers. Brad had a special bond with his two dogs who loved joining him on his outdoor adventures.
He is survived by his parents Dennis and Bev of Batesville; special friend Kalen Wagoner of St. Louis, Missouri; maternal grandfather Joseph Greiwe of Batesville, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Brad was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Marlene Greiwe, paternal grandparents Otto and Rita Roell, uncle Chuck Greiwe, and his two dogs Marley and Ori.
Visitation is Tuesday, October 28th, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., at Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church in Batesville, with Fr. Stan Pondo officiating. The burial will be at St. Louis Cemetery.
