The following are boys junior high and girls C-team/freshman basketball recaps from December 20-21.
The Jac-Cen-Del boys seventh grade downed St. Mary’s of Greensburg 56-30.
The Eagles Blake Wagner racked up 30 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks. Neil Sullivan scored 14 points and Darian Grieshop had 10 points and 11 assists.
The JCD eighth beat St. Mary’s 32-25.
Caden Kohlman and Lane Simon both had seven points for Jac. The Comers, Carson and Case, both scored six with Carson also collecting six rebounds.
The Batesville girls C-team was a 33-25 winner over Franklin County.
Addyson Weiler and Lucy Abplanalp led the Lady Bulldogs with 11 points apiece.
Madesyn Sunderhaus and Esther George scored six and five respectively for the Wildcats.
The Batesville boys freshmen lost 36-35 to Milan and 38-32 to Jac-Cen-Del.
Grant Goldsmith scored 12 and 11 in the two games while teammate Carson Laker posted nine and 12 points.
