Boys golf recaps from Tuesday, April 26

The following are boys golf recaps from Tuesday, April 26.  All events are high school unless noted otherwise.  There may be updates, so please check back.

North Decatur scored 167 and took first in a tri match at The Links in Rising Sun.  The host Shiners posted 211 and Oldenburg tallied 219.

Medalist was the Chargers Carson Parmer who shot a plus-one 38.  Collin Bryant and Jack Koehne followed with 40 and 42 respectively.

Fletcher led RS with 42 and Wagner was low for OA with 48.

  • North Decatur- Brady Espinda 47 and Xavier Adams 48.
  • Rising Sun- Elliott 44, Welzel 59, Smeeks 66 and Hayes 71.
  • Oldenburg- Johannigman 54, Puttman 56, Ruter 61 and Mack 68.

East Central edged Greensburg 170-174.

The Trojans Devin McFarland was medalist shooting 39.  Payton Hoog followed with 41.  Greensburg’s Abe Tebbe and Parker Phillips shot 42 and 43 respectively.

Batesville Middle School (co-ed) played in two par-three events in Columbus.  Batesville’s A-team beat host Central Middle School by one, 140-141.

Ian Hixon’s 34 was a BMS best.  Jon Moody was a shot back at 35.

The BMS B-team lost by two, 163-165.  The B-Dogs were led by Zoey Aherm with a 38.
