(Versailles, IN) – The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) says the Versailles branch at 833 S. Adams Street will end operations on August 28.
“This was not an easy decision, and we sincerely appreciate the feedback we received from Versailles and other Ripley County residents. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to consolidate operations with the nearby Batesville branch,” said BMV Commissioner Kevin Garvey.
“We know change isn’t always easy, but we hope expanding the number of days the Batesville branch is open from three to five, as well as encouraging customers to explore our popular online and kiosk transaction mediums, makes things a bit easier,” Garvey added.
The Batesville location will begin operating Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. after Labor Day on September 2.
