The BMS 7th grade volleyball team lost a very close game to Benjamin Rush; 25-24, 17-25, 13-15. Nya Moon led all servers with 14 points and 4 aces. Adalyn Placke & Reese Richey each added 7 service points. Vera Flannery had 4 kills. Elsie Koehne and Caroline Wiedeman each had a kill. In the back row, Allana Herbert, Harper Wagner, and Brielle Maple all had a good game.
The BMS 8th Grade Lady Bulldog Volleyball Team won their third consecutive match outscoring Benjamin Rush 25-17; 25-16.
Leading servers were Miki Gutzwiller (8 for 9 serving, 6 points including 4 aces) and Lydia Niese (8 for 9 serving, 5 points including 3 aces). Breauna Broshears, Izzy Dierckman, Maci Smith, and Amelia Vierling all scored 4 points. Carly Blanton contributed 2 points while Sarah Hunter earned 1 point.
Lydia Niese and Maci Smith each had 2 kills in the front line, while Breauna Broshears, Miki Gutzwiller, and Kenzi Lacey all picked up 1 kill at the net.
