The Batesville 7th Grade Middle School boy’s basketball team suffered their first loss of the season as they fell to the host Greendale Middle School 27 – 46. The Bulldogs struggled to get in an offensive rhythm for most of the game and the Tigers were able to capitalize on turnovers to get to an early lead. The Bulldogs tried to play catch-up the rest of the game and were unable to do so. The Bulldogs showed great effort and never quit. They were able to outscore the Tigers in the 4th quarter by scoring the last 9 points. Leading the way for the Bulldogs were Becket Jones with 6, Isaiah Martin with 4, Ryder Shields, Decan Fledderman, Evan Ibold, Hank Bohman, and Lane Higham all with 3, and RJ Schuerman with 2. The Bulldogs are now 9-1 on the season and will face Columbus on Tuesday, December 5th at home.
