BATESVILLE, IN — The Batesville Memorial Public Library (BMPL) will honor retiring Children’s Librarian Sandy Dickey, who will hold a special “Storytime with Mrs. Sandy from 2 until 4 pm Saturday.
“All ages can come and enjoy her Storytime, and then there will be a few surprises,” said BMPL Executive Director Kim Porter. “It’s an opportunity for the public to come in and thank Sandy.
“We just everybody to see how much a treasure she is to this community, and we just want to celebrate her one last time,” Porter added.
Sandy Dickey has been with the library for the past 24 years.
