Batesville, In. — Due to poor weather conditions the Batesville Holiday Parade for Saturday has been postponed, but the Holiday Market will be held at Rom-Weber Marketplace from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Kristin Cassidy says a potent cold front will move through southeast Indiana Saturday. The threat of severe weather is marginal but there will be rain, wind and some rumbles of thunder possible.
Chamber Board of Director, Liz Kellerman says, “Unfortunately due to the impending weather forecast for Saturday, the Christmas parade had to be rescheduled. Taking businesses and the community into account, the Chamber Board agreed that was the correct action to take. We look forward to the rescheduled display of floats on December 7th in the village square for all to admire”.
RomWeber Marketplace will host the Holiday Market on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy caroling with the Fritsch family at 11:30 a.m., a performance by Southeastern Indiana Dance and music by the Eureka Band at 2 p.m. Santa and his reindeer will be there as well as crafts and lots of fun, plus a $500 chamber check giveaway.
