Big fourth set comeback lifts JCD to win over Milan

The Jac-Cen-Del varsity had an incredible comeback in its home date against Milan Thursday.  Down 24-16 in the fourth set against Milan, the Eagles fought off a slew of game point chances for the Indians.  JCD won 11 of the final 12 points to take the set 27-25 and win the match 3-1.

For the Osgood gals, Desiree Sparks powered 14 kills while Aundrea Cullen amassed 30 digs and 7 aces.

“This group of young women have really shown resilience in the last couple of weeks,” said Jac-Cen-Del coach Cat Schmeltz.  “We have won some really tight contests that could have went either way. They are really clicking together and able to withstand runs from the other side and still finish sets. I am incredibly proud of how they have pulled together to play their best volleyball at the end of the season.”
