BHS Wrestling Eighth at EIAC

(Brookville, IN) – The Batesville Bulldog Wrestling team finished eighth overall at the EIAC Championship at Franklin County on Saturday against a tough field of conference opponents.

Individually, the Bulldogs earned podium finishes from several wrestlers.

AJ Dance and Kaden Lamping both secured sixth place finishes in their respective weight classes.

Batesville brought home two conference championships when sophomores Carson Weiler earned his second EIAC title, and junior Adam Brewer captured his first.

The day was especially memorable for Brewer, who picked up his 100th career victory in his championship match, which is considered an impressive milestone rarely reached at the high school level.

Brewer is the first junior to reach the milestone in school history.

The Bulldogs return to action on Tuesday, January 20 when they host Indiana School for the Deaf.

The home dual will serve as both Senior Night and Youth Night for the program.
