BHS requests online votes today to win $500,000 IDOE grant

(Batesville, IN) – Batesville High School is a finalist for a large Indiana Department of Education grant and the school corporation is asking citizens to cast their votes online via a dedicated website link today only, September 8, in support of the school’s achievements.

According to Batesville Community School Corporation (BCSC) Superintendent Paul Ketcham, only votes cast between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. will count.

If Batesville garners the most votes during that 12-hour time period from among the three finalists in the Excellence in Next Level Educational Experiences and Opportunities category, BHS’s awarded $250,000 grant will be doubled to $500,000.
