BHS graduate awarded Indiana Sheriff’s Association Scholarship

BROOKVILLE, IN — A recent Batesville High School graduate has been awarded an Indiana Sheriff’s Association (ISA) scholarship.

Lane T.  Mauer was presented a $750 scholarship on behalf of the ISA by Franklin County Sheriff Peter Cates.

Mauer was one of 40 people throughout the state to be awarded the scholarship for the next school year.

He is the son of Greg and Sherry Mauer of Batesville and plans to attend Vincennes University, where he will major in Law Enforcement and Conservation.
