Beverly Collene Campbell, 73 of Dillsboro, Indiana, passed away Monday April 3, 2017 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
She was born March 20, 1944 in Woodsbend, KY, daughter of the late Stanford Helton and Marena Helton.
She worked as a Collator for McCalls Publishing, and also modeled for McCall’s for a brief time.
Beverly enjoyed crafts, painting and gardening. In her youth Bev excelled in dance, ballet and tap dancing. She also was exceptional in playing violin. She was self taught and could listen to music and then play the song. Time with her family was her greatest joy.
Surviving are her loving husband of 48 years, Bob Campbell of Dillsboro, IN; daughters, Rachel (Rob) Thies of Guilford, IN, Rochelle (Lester) Sandlin of North Vernon, IN; siblings, Stanford (Jackie) Helton of Livingston, TX, grandchildren, Dustin (Brooke) Thies of Lawrenceburg, IN, Joel Sandlin, Kalena Sandlin and Leslie Smith; great grandson, Koel Sandlin; close family friend Charles Locke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanford and Marena Helton, brothers, Billy, Mike and Gary Helton and sister, Cynthia Helton.
Friends will be received Saturday, April 8, 2017 from Noon – 2:00 pm at the St. John Lutheran Church Bellaire, 4937 State Road 48, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm at the church with Pastor Matthew Voyer officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
