Betty Rose Springer, age 97, of West Harrison, Indiana, entered this life on February 27, 1926 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and was the daughter of the late, Joseph and Rose Ann (Meisberger) Springer. Betty was employed as a folder for Textile Curtain Factory in Cincinnati, Ohio retiring after 20 years of service. Betty enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Betty passed away at 12:03 p.m., Friday, June 2, 2023, at her residence.
Betty will be missed by her son, Michael David Whitener of Cincinnati, OH; her grandson, Michael Whitener Jr. of Middletown, OH; her great-grandchildren, Michael Whitener, III., Travis Whitener and Andrea Whitener; her brother, Robert “Bob” Springer, Sr. of Center Square, IN and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Willard Jacob Whitener, Jr.; her grandson, Greg Whitener; her father, Joseph Springer; her mother, Rose Ann (Meisberger) Springer; her brother, Donald Joseph Springer and her sisters, Marion Thomas and Dorothy Martin.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 9, 2023 in the Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Park, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45246.
