Betty Jean Roszelle, age 87, of Greensburg, Indiana passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Arbor Grove Village.
Betty was the first child of Jesse and Geraldine Mirick born June 16, 1938, in Ohio County, Indiana. She was a proud 1956 graduate of New Point High School where she served as senior class secretary.
Betty was united in marriage on October 6th, 1956, to Carl Roszelle and together they started their family in Decatur County.
Her career, when not being a homemaker, was in retail sales at Sears, GC Murphy, and Kmart. She was a member of First Christian Church in Greensburg and attended the Golden Rule Sunday School class.
Survivors include her children, Mark (Karen) Roszelle of Greensburg and Tina (Mark) Siebert of Batesville.
Her 5 grandchildren, Hilary (Steven) Hart, Heather (Brad) Karazsia, Mitchell (Wendy) Roszelle, Carleigh Siebert, Cole (Cami) Siebert and 5 great-grandchildren, Ava, Dane, Duke, Layne, Elizabeth, and Baby Siebert arriving this summer.
Surviving siblings are Sharon Miller, Donald Mirick, and Carolyn (Jackie) Powers.
Betty was preceded in death by husband Carl, parents Jesse and Geraldine, sister-in- law Deanna Mirick, and brother-in-law Larry E. Miller.
Betty’s family wishes to thank the staff of Arbor Grove Village and Our Hospice of South Central Indiana for the quality and comforting care Betty received from them.

There will be no visitation. A private funeral and burial will be held. Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Pastor Steve Frensemeier with First Christian Church will preside over the services.
