Betty Dwenger, 72 years old, of Lawrenceburg, IN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, surrounded by her family. Betty grew up in Zanesville, OH and moved to Lawrenceburg after she met Joe at a nightclub in Cincinnati while visiting family. 43 years later, Joe was still the love of Betty’s life. She loved to spend time with family and would always put them before herself. She enjoyed being outside in her garden and tending to her flowers. She was an avid reader and would read the bible every night. Betty and Joe enjoyed playing cards on Saturday night and one of their favorite games was euchre. Betty also enjoyed playing cards with her grandson, Henry, and they spent the last few weekends of her life playing cards together. She had a special bond with Henry and enjoyed talking and drinking coffee with him. Betty enjoyed listening to Christian music and old country. She also loved dancing and looked forward to weddings when she could show off her moves. Betty was a member of Whitewater Crossing Christian Church.
