(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Community School Corporation (BCSC) held its annual Staff Appreciation Banquet at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Wednesday, May 22.
Staff members celebrating various years of service were acknowledged and retirees were honored that evening.
Jenni Garrett, representative for the Batesville Community Education Foundation, acknowledged BCEF Brilliance Awards winners.
Throughout the evening, door prizes were awarded.
BCSC Superintendent Paul Ketcham thanked the entire staff for all their work during the 2023-24 school year.
Ketcham says many area businesses partnered with BCSC and donated money and/or door prizes for the banquet.
“We’re extremely thankful to all of our community partners. We would be unable to offer this annual staff celebration without them”, says Ketcham.
2024 retires are Norman and Linda Gutzwiller, BCSC Transportation Staff; Wayne Lanning, Batesville Middle School Industrial Technology Teacher; Jenny Meyer, Batesville High School Cafeteria Manager; Gayla Vonderheide, BCSC Director of Health Services; Cindy Weisenbach, Batesville Intermediate School Third Grade Teacher, and Jayne Wilburn, BMS Paraprofessional.
