BCSC Administrators Bring Home Awards From State Education Conference

(Indianapolis, IN) – Batesville Middle School Assistant Principal Justin Tucker has been named the 2024 Indiana Assistant Principal of the Year by the Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP).

He was also named Assistant Principal of District 10, which is made up of Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Franklin, Hancock, Jennings, Ripley, Rush, Shelby and Union Counties.

The recognition ceremony is a part of the 2024 Assistant Principals of the Year Recognition Celebration, which takes place during IASP’s annual Fall Professionals Conference.

District Assistant Principals of the Year are elected by their peers. One principal is honored from each of the 12 districts, from which Tucker was chosen for the state award and recognized at the IASP’s banquet in Indianapolis on Sunday night.

In addition, Batesville Intermediate School Principal Dana Cassidy was honored as the IASP District 10 Elementary Principal of the Year at the event.

The IASP is a non-profit professional association serving over 3,400 building-level administrators in the State of Indiana.
