Batesville Volleyball outlasts South Dearborn

Batesville Volleyball got a battle from host South Dearborn Tuesday as the EIAC foes played five sets.  The Bulldogs won 25-13, 20-25, 25-15, 24-26 and 15-10.

For BHS Margaret Wilson had a match-high 16 kills.  Caymen Werner followed with 10 and had 21 assists.  Laney Walsman led BHS with 23 digs.

South Dearborn JV reported stats from assistant coach Breanna Upton: Serving standouts were Macy Hughes, Kylie McClanahan and Gracie Messmore with 2 aces each. Offensive standouts were Sydney Barth with 3 kills, Jillian Bond with 1 kill, Haley Heim with 1 kill, Macy Hughes with 1 kill and 3 block touches, Gracie Messmore with 1 kill and 8 assists, and Izzy Sampson with 1 kill. Defensive standout was Kylie McClanahan.
