Batesville Varsity Volleyball Claims Ripley County Tournament Title

The annual Ripley County Tournament for volleyball took place this weekend, with the Lady Bulldogs coming out on top. Batesville defeated Milan in the first round of the tournament and were then matched up against South Ripley in the championship. The Bulldogs came out victorious in the championship, winning in 3 sets. (25-5, 25-23, 25-17). (Stats leaders from the championship game are below.)

Serving – Ava Walsman and Reesa Zimmerman 100% serving
Kills – Reesa Zimmerman with 18 kills
Assists – Ava Powner with 24
Blocking – Maddie Haskamp with 3 solo blocks
The JV also competed in the tournament over the weekend. They defeated Milan in the first round with the scores 25-15 and 25-9. They lost to South Ripley in the championship with the scores of 16-25 and 21-25.

Assists – Katie Wilhelm and Caitlyn Fox with 17
