Batesville Middle School Wrestlers were put back on the mat Tuesday night as they hosted visiting Madison Junior High.
The evening started out on a high note as Nathaniel Robinson and JT Linkel both had wins by fall. Nathaniel set the bar high as the 80 pound grappler had a quick 30 second pin in the first period.
As the night progressed with great performances from both teams, the additional pins from Jackson Wooldridge and Alex Plemmons let off a great deal of excitement in the Middle School Gym.
Even though the Bulldogs were defeated 81-30, 20 hard fought matches were witnessed. The evening ended with junior varsity action, where the bulldogs saw a win by fall from Chris Lainez.
The Bulldogs will be back on the mat Thursday evening as the Fighting Knights from South Dearborn visit for a 5:30 Match.
