The Batesville High School wrestling season came to an end this weekend at Semi-State held in New Castle. The Bulldogs’ lone wrestler, Sophomore Max Amberger, competed in a competitive match against the 11th-ranked 285-pound wrestler from
Carmel. Though Amberger had a fast start jumping to a 4-0 lead in the first 30 seconds of the match, he fell short to a more experienced Senior opponent. Max’s season ends with a 33-8 individual record.
