The Batesville High School Freshman Basketball team opened their season with a 38-33 win at home over Franklin County.
The Bulldogs came back from a 18-12 half time deficit to outscore the wildcats 26-15 in the third and fourth quarters. The dogs were lead in scoring by Lane Oesterling who had 13 points off the bench and Alex Westerfeld who had 10 points.
The team is in action again Saturday when they take on Rising Sun at home.
