The Batesville Middle School 7th Grade Team won big against Brookville by a score of 58 to 15.
The Bulldogs came out focused and ready to play and jumped out to a 21 to 0 lead before the Greyhounds were able to make a bucket. Batesville was led in scoring by RJ Powell who scored 10 points. Also scoring for Batesville was Ethan Brewer with 9 points, Mason Barker and Jaden Peetz with 7 points each, Calvin Sherwood and Pros Moorman with 6 points a piece, Trey Peters with 5 points, Damon Grieshop with 4 points, and rounding out the scoring was Austin Cornn and Nathan Villani with 2 points each.
The Bulldogs improved their record to 2-2 on the year. Batesville will be back in action on Monday, November 30 when they travel to Connersville to take on the Spartans.
