Batesville, In. — Two new members of the Batesville Fire & Rescue team were sworn in Monday night at the Memorial Building.
Lisa Jennings of Bright is the first female Firefighter/Paramedic in the history of the department. Since 2013 she has worked with Ripley County EMS and has been a member of the UC Health Air Care & Mobile Care Special Events Team. She is married with four children.
After serving part-time for approximately three yours Donovan Imel is now full-time. Imel is a 2014 graduate of Waldron High School and has also worked with Ripley County EMS.
