Batesville, IN—As announced previously, the City of Batesville’s Economic Development Commission has been awarded a $5,000 marketing grant from Duke Energy. “The funding made possible by Duke Energy is a great asset to our team and the community as we move closer to launching a marketing program that aims to attract workforce talent and families to Batesville,” Economic Development Director Sarah Lamping said.
Batesville was one of 24 Indiana communities to be awarded the funding which will be used to execute a comprehensive 3-year plan that is measured by population growth in target markets, increase in the housing market, the attraction of new businesses, and retention and expansion of current businesses.
