St. Louis-1 54 St. Catherine’s-1 45
St. Louis-1 would pick up their 6 win of the season as they defeated St. Catherine’s-1 54-45. St. Louis-1 would trail by 2 after the first quarter 12-10. We didn’t play with a lot of energy to start the game as we were not aggressive. St. Louis-1 offense would pick up in the 2nd quarter as they would out score St. Catherine’s 20-12 to take a 30-22 halftime lead. I think the long holiday layoff hurt us offensively in the first quarter but we stepped it up in the 2nd quarter. In the 3rd quarter St. Louis-1 would pull away and lead 50-28 after 3 quarters and would gone to win. I thought in the 3rd quarter we really got our offensive back on track and our defensive stepped up as well.

St. Louis-2 traveled to Greensburg and fell to St. Mary’s 59-43. St. Louis-2 struggled offensively coming off the holiday break. We just couldn’t get the ball to fall today and we were just a step slower then St. Mary’s.
