St. Louis-1 60 St. Michael’s 55
It would take overtime for St. Louis-1 to remain undefeated as they beat St. Michael’s 60-55. St. Louis-1 trailed the entire game in regulation. We didn’t play well in the 1st half and we hadn’t trailed all season so the 2nd half would be a good test to see how we would respond playing from behind. Even though we never lead in regulation, we really played the 2nd half with a different attitude. Lane Oesterling would hit a 3 pointer in the closing seconds to send the game into overtime at 50. In the overtime St. Louis-1 would take the lead with a quick basket off the tip and would go on to outscore St. Michael’s 10-5 in overtime to secure the win. This was a big win for us and in the 2nd half and overtime we executed our offense much better and did a better jump rebounding.

St. Louis-2 49 All Saints 71
St. Louis-2 fell to a much taller and more experienced All Saints team 71-49. The first quarter would be the difference in the game as All Saints would lead 24-8 after the 1st quarter. We just didn’t have the size to compete with them. They were just too big and strong inside for us. Give credit to St. Louis-2 as the would do a better job the last 3 quarters but weren’t able to over the poor start.
