The Batesville High School boys varsity basketball team posted a 44-36 win at home against Rushville. The Bulldogs and Lions went back and forth most of the game before Batesville outscored Rushville 17-10 over the final eight minutes. Sam Johnson scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed six rebounds. Cade Kaiser led the defensive effort with five steals and two blocked shots. Trenten Luers, Gus Prickel, and Brayden Maple each had two assists.
