Wednesday evening the Batesville Bulldogs competed against the Franklin County Wild Cats. In the first half, Ian Powers scored a hat-trick with the assists of JJ Kuisel and Cody Sims. JJ Kuisel scored 2 goals assisted by Ian Powers. Willy Sherwood scored from an assist by Ian Carpenter. First half ended 6-0, and in the next half, Kent Meyers took a long shot which was assisted by Calvin Sherwood. Later in the second half, the Batesville starters stepped off the field and gave the bench an opportunity for minutes in the match. The final score was 7-0 at the final whistle. Batesville will compete in the sectionals final against Lawrenceburg at 7 pm this Saturday.
