Batesville, In. — Saturday, August 19 is “Batesville Blitz Day.” Members of the Batesville High School Band and Singers will be raising funds for a trip to Orlando in March of 2018.
Between 9 a.m. and noon groups of students will go door-to-door raising money. Each group has a goal of $200. The “Blitz Day” goal is $5,000, the students have a goal of $25,000 by February.
The Bulldog Brigade will be marching in the Magic Kingdom parade and recording a musical score for a portion of a Disney movie. The Singers, show choir will perform at the Disney resort, Saratoga Springs and attend a show choir clinic.
