Batesville Area CYO Basketball Results
Sunday  (2-9)

Semi-Finals @ St. Louis-Batesville
St. Louis #1 won against All Saints #2 by a score of 50- 43. This was a very close game throughout the whole game. St. Louis didn’t play well the first half and only had a three-point lead going into half time. we regrouped and played like we usually do in the second half. it came down to three throws and touch defense for St. Louis who pulled it away with 2 minutes left in the game. Leading the way for St. Louis was John Thompson with 15, 9 of those points were from the foul line (9-12), Seth Gausman with 9, and  Cox and Chris Anderson with 6. Adam Cox joins Gausman and Thompson in the 100 points plus group with 104 points. We had a great defensive play by Luke Esser and Aaron Weber. 

All Saints were lead in scoring by Josh Hudepohl with 9, KevinHuber and Justin Ryan with 8, and Drew Cannon with 6.
 
All Saints #1 won against Holly Family by a score of 58- 42. Leading the way for All Saints was Landon Weis with 17, Luke Hornbach with 12, and Griffin Werner with 8. Holy Family was lead in scoring by Shane Meer with 15, Hank Nobbe with 11, and Justin Heiser with 5.  

Next week is the Finals of CYO Basketball and will be a great game. St. Louis #1 plays All Saints #1 at 1:00, these two teams are the #1 and #2 seed going into the season and are 1-1 against each other. All Saints beat St. Louis in the first game 77 to 58.  St. Louis beat All Saints in the second game 53 to 46.
