Barbara Ann Beetz

Barbara Ann (Litmer) Beetz, age 75 of Enochsburg, Indiana, passed peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born January 23, 1950, in Batesville, Indiana. She is the daughter of James and Rita (Haunert) Litmer. She was married to George E. Beetz on July 27th, 1970, at St. Catherine of Siena – St. John Catholic Church in Enochsburg, Indiana.

Barbara (or Barbie as George called her), cared for all and loved all. George was her person, and she his. Their love was unwavering. She leaves behind a family forever shaped by her love. Barb was first, and always a mother. Later the proudest Grandma and Gigi anyone could ask for. Her world revolved around her family, and everyone knew how deeply they were loved. For her family and friends, she was selfless and always present. Their home and pool was a safe haven for all to gather and celebrate. Always up for an adventure, she and George loved taking trips with her sister and brother in-law, which was always filled with laughter and a good story. Barb was the person her family looked up to, the friend you needed, a true believer in Jesus, and the power of prayer. She was home to her family, and a light to all who knew her.

Barbara is survived by her husband George Beetz of Enochsburg, IN; Daughter Heidi (Denny) Laudick of Enochsburg, IN; Son Jamison (Leah) Beetz of Greenwood, IN; Grandchildren Kylee, Denia, Matthew (Baili), Jada (Cade), Luke, and James; Great-grandchildren Linkin, Huxton, Mia Barbara, Lettie, and Tate; Sister Kathy (Jim) Hewitt; Brothers Gus (Janet) Litmer, Tom (Laura) Litmer, Greg Litmer, and Brother in-law Michael Harley; step-brothers David (Travis) Grossman, Gary (Roe) Grossman, Tim (Meg) Grossman and John (Christy) Grossman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
