(Huntingburg, IN) – South Ripley wrapped up play at the Southridge Holiday Tournament with a strong 2-1 showing, closing the weekend with an offensive surge against Forest Park after earlier games against Southridge and Bedford North Lawrence.
The Raiders opened tournament play with a narrow 50–48 win over host Southridge, pulling out the victory in a tight, back-and-forth contest that remained close throughout.
South Ripley’s only loss of the tournament came against Bedford North Lawrence, 56–48, as the Stars used a strong second half to pull away and hand the Raiders their lone setback of the holiday stretch.
In the tournament finale, South Ripley delivered its most complete offensive performance with a 71–64 win over Forest Park. After a slow start, the Raiders found their rhythm behind a balanced team effort. Dylan Jessee led the way with 20 points, while Eli Gilpin added 19 and Drew Volz chipped in 15, as three Raiders scored in double figures.
