Aurora woman arrested on multiple drug charges

Aurora, IN— Last Friday, a joint investigation between the Aurora Police Department, Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office, Dearborn/Ohio County Special Crimes Unit, and the Greendale Police Department led to an arrest of a woman from Aurora on allegations of multiple drug charges.
Bette Staub, 51, of Aurora was stopped by Sheriff’s Deputies on US 50 in Greendale on the evening of June 8th. During the investigation, deputies learned that Staub had been to Fairfield, Ohio and purchased drugs. After a positive alert for the odor of narcotics by the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office K-9, Glock, Sheriff’s Deputies allege to have located over 2 ounces of methamphetamine, paraphernalia and $3,167 cash in the vehicle.

Bette Staub was charged on allegations of Dealing in Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine Exceeding 28 grams, Dealing in Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
