Aurora, IN — The Aurora Parks Department is working to get some volunteers for the City Clean-Up for this Thursday and Friday. If you or a co-worker could help out it, they are asking for volunteers to take four-hour shifts on one of the two days. You could pick a morning shift (7-11 am) or an afternoon shift (1-5 pm). They are looking for at least 3 more people for each shift but would really like 8 – 10 for each shift.
The volunteers will be walking along with our Street Department helping load up the curbside pickup and others will be helping unload to the dumpsters and recycling trailers. A couple of organizations are sponsoring and cleaning up a few of the City parks on Saturday morning for additional cleanup.
