Dearborn County, In. — A high-speed chase resulted in the arrest of an Aurora man Monday.
A member of the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department Special Crimes Highway Interdiction Unit observed a car associated with suspicious activity at the intersection of Pribble Road and State Road 1. The suspect fled when police attempted to make a traffic stop.
The suspect, later identified as Zachary Jenkins, 31, continued to flee into Ohio then back to Indiana as units from multiple agencies joined the pursuit. Jenkins hit stop sticks placed at Kaiser Drive and State Road 48 and the chase ended in a driveway on Possum Ridge Road.
Jenkins is being held as the investigation continues.
Officers from the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department, Greendale Police Department and Lawrenceburg Police Department participated in the pursuit.
