Arthur Meisberger

Arthur E. Meisberger, 65, of Olean passed away at 10:40pm, Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the home of his son in New Marion. He was born at the Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville on May 26, 1954 the son of Rom and Gertrude Eckstein Meisberger. Survivors include three sons Tony and Drew both of New Marion, and Brandon Meisberger of Milan; three grandchildren Anthony Meisberger, Jr., Jacob Meisberger, and Alex Lee Svatba; two sisters Dolores Souder and Mary (Greg) Hilton both of New Marion; seven brothers Melvin (Sandra), David (Sherron), John (Diane), Charlie, and Dwight Meisberger all of New Marion, Donald (Josie) Meisberger of Camby, and Mark Meisberger of Indianapolis; sister-in-law Rita Meisberger of New Marion. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Phillip. Mr. Meisberger was a 1973 graduate of South Ripley High School. Art was a full time farmer and a member of the St. Magdalene Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 5th at 11am at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Madison with Father Chris Craig officiating. Burial will be in the St. Magdalene Cemetery in Madison. Visitation will be from 9am to 10:30am Friday at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorials may be given to the St. Magdalene Cemetery Fund in care of the funeral home.
