VERSAILLES, Ind. — The cold is here to stay, but it’s not too early to start thinking about spring and getting outdoors, especially if you are a budding artist.
Art in Nature classes will be back again this year at the Versailles State Park.
Daily classes are scheduled April 3 – 8 at the Recreation Hall.
The classes are free again this year.
Classes are open to the public, but are limited to 20 seats in each class.
Individuals may only sign up for a total of 3 classes.
Reservations must be made in advance by calling the Ripley County Tourism Bureau at 689-7431 or by emailing [email protected], and are due by March 18.
- April 3rd, Monday-6-8pm, Grapevine Wreath Making with Sara Bettis
- April 4th, Tuesday-6-8pm, Garden Art Posts with Kia Foreman
- April 5th, Wednesday-6-8pm, Recycled Art with Annette Geil
- April 6th, Thursday-6-8pm, Watercolors with Debi Black
- April 7th, Friday-6-8pm, Wood Turning (Southeastern Indiana Wood Turners) must be age 10+
- April 8th, Saturday-1-3pm, Jewelry Making with Joy Stapleton
- Saturday evening 6-8pm Art in Nature II Community Art Show open to the public Refreshments, and live music by Sandy and Chopper will be provided starting at 6pm.
Artists may take their work home following the art show ending at 8pm.
