Area under a marginal to slight risk for severe weather Thursday

SOUTHEASTERN IN —  Southeastern Indiana is under a marginal to slight risk for severe weather this afternoon and tonight.

Forecasters say the most favored time for severe weather is between 1 and 7 pm, with damaging wind the primary threat.

Large hail and the potential for tornados are low, but cannot be ruled out.

There is also a chance of heavy rainfall and localized flooding this afternoon into tonight.
