A super Weekend at The Swimming Sectionals at Columbus North for our area swimmers. Nick Weber-EC AquaTrojans 1st in 50 and 100 Free. Fellow Aqua Trojan teammate Skyler Cavins 1st in 100 Fly. EC 200 Free Relay Team of Weber, Ayden Ketchum, Matt Baddinghaus, and Henry Strotmam place 1st. All qualify for The State Finals.
Bailey Whitelock of The South Dearborn Sea Dragons was 1st in Diving. The Diving Regionals will be taking place Tuesday, February 23rd at Jasper.
Bloomington North was the team champions with a score of 425 with the host Bulldogs second with 367. EC was third at 349 followed by Bloomington South 264, Columbus East 236, Batesville 150, Milan 108, Greensburg 97, South Dearborn 78, Oldenburg 61, Lawrenceburg 52, Edgewood 24, and South Ripley 16.
The Boys Swimming State Finals will be Friday-Saturday, February 26th-27th at The IUPUI Natatorium.
